Field technician Jobs in Drayton Valley, AB

We are working with our client, a major oil and gas company, to fill a Contract   Field Operator  position in the Drayton Valley / Edson area working on a 8 / 6 schedule. Candidates must be local to the area as there are no accommodations or LOA provided.

Requirements include :

• 3+ years experience as a Production Field Operator; gas plant experience an asset
• Operate, monitor, test and optimize oil and gas wells
• Contract Operator with truck and tools preferred
• Strong computer skills
• A disciplined work ethic and ability to take initiative and problem solve
• Valid class 5 license
• Valid safety tickets required (H2S, First Aid)
• Preference given to those with additional production related training
• This is a safety sensitive position therefore pre-employment screening required
