This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring / Summer, 2026, it will be a full time seasonal role.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The facilities maintenance helper role provides for the ongoing daily and seasonal maintenance needs for all Maligne Lake facilities, onsite staff accommodation and fleet

This is a dynamic role and will include any, or all, of the following :

• Assist the fleet maintenance manager and lead mechanic as required in any light duty maintenance assistance with the boat or ground fleet.
• Facilities painting needs both interior and exterior
• Performing daily maintenance checks as assigned
• Supporting general facility cleaning needs as required
• Completing general repairs within scope of experience / skill including minor carpentry, plumbing, landscaping and light equipment operations
• Picking up supplies, taking recycling to the town depot
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

The starting wage for this role is $22.00 / hour.
