The challenges that await you
Under the authority of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for developing, implementing, and improving the treatment processes for sludge with the aim of recovering municipal biosolids from the City of Laval's Water Resource Recovery Stations (StaRRE). Taking into account the objectives of the strategic planning and the priorities of the operational plan, he acts as a specialist in biosolids management, organic materials, and agro-environment. He is able to analyze and monitor the operation of the sludge treatment systems. He makes recommendations and implements changes to increase their efficiency. He advises and supports the organization by making recommendations to ensure the smooth running of activities and the sustainability of the biosolid recovery process. He participates in conducting studies and analyses in support of projects related to wastewater treatment or environmental matters.
