The Position :

The Director, Product Management - Beauty will be responsible for the development, performance, and lifecycle management for all product categories within our Beauty division.

Responsibilities :

• Lead product development process for all new products within the Beauty division.
• Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to ensure product specifications meet consumer demands and align with the brand’s positioning.
• Oversee product testing and quality assurance.
• Conduct and oversee market research to understand consumer needs, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to inform future product development or updates.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch, including discontinuation.
• Plan for updates, new features, or product line extensions to maintain market relevance.
• Work closely with manufacturing and supply chain teams to manage product costs and pricing, ensuring the product can be priced competitively while maintaining profitability.
• Collaborate with sales and distribution teams to ensure the product is available in the right retail channels.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage supply chain logistics.
• Work closely with the Marketing and Creative teams to ensure product features, packaging, and messaging align with consumer expectations and brand strategy.
• Understand and interpret the Canadian market encompassing trends, retail environment, competition, and the economy to identify product gaps and growth opportunities.
• Travel and attend trade shows as required.
