JOB DESCRIPTION :
We are seeking to add a Planner to play an integral role in our North American Team! Based in our Barrie Office, the Demand Planner will forecast and manage US and Canadian markets. This role involves analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute demand plans that support the company's goals. The quality of your forecasts and analytical solutions directly impacts supply chain efficiency and product availability.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Lead monthly demand-supply reconciliation, S&OP / S&OE process, in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
- Utilize historical sales data, market research, and input from sales and marketing teams to develop accurate demand forecasts.
- Proactively identify constraints and challenges and develop solutions to mitigate impacts while keeping internal customers informed of developments.
- Analyze multiple history streams, including POS / consumption data and inventory change projections, and utilize advanced demand planning system and reporting engine output to execute the cross-functional consensus process and challenge / negotiate forecasts to ensure accuracy.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and product development teams to understand product lifecycles and new product introductions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure demand plans are aligned with business objectives.
- Prepare and present regular reports on demand planning performance, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Develop reporting tools to improve the planning processes and support business decisions.
- Meet with selected key customers to develop joint forecasts & contribute to customer Unit Fill analysis and improvement.
REQUIREMENTS :
Compensation Range : $100,000 to $120,000
This range indicates the projected hiring range. However, the annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills, and experience.
