Job Summary :
This consulting role focuses on advising the Government of Alberta on strategic initiatives and leading a ministerial transformation within the Ministry of Justice. The consultant will facilitate discussions with executives, provide guidance on organizational structures and governance, and potentially coach and mentor teams on service innovation and digital transformation. The position requires expertise in digital delivery, agile methodologies, and organizational change management. The initial contract is for one year, with the possibility of a 24-month extension. Work will primarily be remote, with potential for in-person meetings and travel within Alberta.
Location : Alberta, Canada
Responsibilities :
- Provide subject matter expertise and recommendations on digital delivery, agile product development, and organizational transformation.
- Assess and develop initiatives to cultivate digital capability, capacity, and culture within the context of service transformation.
- Advise, coach, and lead product and platform teams throughout project lifecycles.
- Advise and coach executive leadership teams on change management related to organizational structure, governance, capacity building, policy, infrastructure, and culture.
- Create and present options, frameworks, models, and briefings for senior executives on digital transformation.
- Facilitate strategic conversations to develop shared understanding and generate options for decision-making.
- Develop baseline and ongoing outcomes, key results, metrics, and other indicators.
