Job description

Principales responsabilités

Installation, configuration et mise à jour du logiciel de base de données Oracle.
Gérer et tenir à jour l’instance de la base de données afin d’assurer une performance optimale.
Mettre en œuvre une stratégie de sauvegarde et de récupération pour réduire au minimum les pertes de données et les temps d’arrêt.
Surveillance et dépannage des problèmes de performance des bases de données.
Collaborer avec les développeurs et les administrateurs système pour optimiser l’environnement global.
Effectuer régulièrement des activités de maintenance de la base de données.
Documenter les configurations et les procédures de la base de données.
Fournir du soutien technique et des conseils aux utilisateurs.

Qualifications essentielles

3 à 5 ans d’expérience dans un rôle de DBA Oracle ;

Expérience avec les outils et produits Oracle;

Solides compétences en communication verbale et écrite et habiletés à travailler avec des gens ayants différentes aptitudes (technique et non technique) ;

Habilités à travailler en étroite collaboration avec les différents intervenants pour comprendre leur besoin afin de mettre en place la solution attendue;

Excellentes compétences en analyse et en organisation ;

Aptitudes à promouvoir les changements et proposer de nouvelles solutions;

Habiletés à travailler de façon autonome, avec un minimum de supervision, au sein d’un environnement dynamique ;

Expérience dans le domaine des télécommunications;

Le bilinguisme est requis pour le poste.
