The job summary is as follows: as a electrical drafter, your mission will be to transform complex ideas into flawless technical plans and precise control panel diagrams, while ensuring smooth coordination with jobsites in Joliette. You will be the graphic engine that enables the realization of major infrastructure projects, from initial design to final approval.

Responsibilities
To succeed in your duties as a electrical drafter, your main tasks will be as follows:

Produce technical drawings and wiring diagrams for control panels.

Collaborate with engineers to develop innovative integration solutions for civil engineering.

Perform basic calculations essential for the design of electrical schematics.

Ensure constant updates and accuracy of plans according to current electrical standards.

Prepare material lists and technical documentation required for manufacturing.

Support the technical team by acting as a reference for the drafting of electrical interfaces.

Qualifications
We are looking for a meticulous and dynamic profile to fill the functions of electrical drafter:

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in electrical drafting or design (junior profiles are welcome).

Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in electrical engineering or a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.

Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD software (knowledge of other design software is a valuable asset).

Strong ability to read plans and understand electrical codes.

Great attention to detail, autonomy, and the ability to meet smooth production deadlines.

A sense of collaboration and a desire to get involved within a technical team in Joliette.
