Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Mechanical Engineer role based in Arborg, MB. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and machinery, using computer‑aided design (CAD) software for product development. The role includes contributing to research and development initiatives, overseeing machine design processes, and supporting project management tasks. Day‑to‑day activities involve collaboration with cross‑functional teams to innovate and improve engineering designs, ensuring product functionality, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles and Machine Design
  • Hands‑on experience with Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) tools and software
  • Strong capability in project management and coordinating engineering projects
  • Involvement in Research and Development (R&D) activities to enhance product innovation
  • Exceptional problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and communication skills for effective teamwork
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing, material handling, or related industries is an asset
