The MRT provides the safe and effective delivery of x-rays to patients during their pain interventional treatments. The technician ensures that he / she adheres to all clinic policies, standards and practices.

Duties and responsibilities

• Patient preparation for the performance of Fluoroscopy guided interventions
• Operate fluoroscopy machine during procedures, under direction of the physician, in accordance with the companys policies and procedures
• Record and process patient data
• Wearing protective equipment as required
• Perform basic quality control checks on equipment
• Update, file and maintain client information
• Review of written reports and discussion with physicians
• Assist with facility flow of patients through the clinic and coordinate with medical team to ensure patient centric service delivery
• Establishes priorities and makes ethically sound decisions to ensure safe patient care
• Prepares treatment room for examination and treatment of patient
• Collaborating with other health care professionals
• Participating in continuing education
• Strong knowledge of equipment and how to clean and decontaminate it.
• Assists in training new staff, and / or support staff engaged in clinic activities
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
