ELEMENTARY EMERGENCY INSTRUCTOR
The Niagara Catholic District School Board is committed to ensuring that qualified teachers are teaching in our classrooms at all times.
From time to time, in extenuating circumstances, this may not be possible. A Board registered Emergency Instructor may be called upon to cover a classroom in the absence of the classroom teacher.

What we require :
- Resume (upon applying)
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check (required prior to starting in a school)
Qualifications :
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred
What you can expect :
- Following a teaching plan left by the classroom teacher where possible
- Maintain proper order and discipline in the teacher’s classroom, while on duty in the school and on the school ground
- Remain in contact with the School Principal or Vice Principal on a frequent basis throughout the school day to ensure safety of all students
