About The Team
We conduct hundreds of live auctions annually worldwide. Our team includes equipment inspectors, yard managers, operators, administrative staff, and customer service representatives, all working together to ensure successful multi-million dollar auctions.
Job Description
The Dispatcher manages towing resources to ensure smooth vehicle pickups and deliveries, optimizing branch productivity. The role involves providing excellent customer service to towing partners and coordinating capacity and resources, playing a vital part in business and branch growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage towing operations and ensure on-time performance
- Assign work efficiently to tow truck resources and optimize productivity
- Plan and coordinate future resource needs with towers
- Identify demand exceeding capacity and coordinate additional resources
- Monitor transportation costs and seek savings opportunities
- Recruit and build towing networks with new towers
- Provide documentation to drivers for pickups and deliveries, including cash handling as needed
- Oversee ongoing work and make adjustments for timely completion
- Escalate transportation issues to management
- Build relationships with the Transportation team and tow drivers
- Review transportation reports and metrics
- Follow safety guidelines and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
