Our new office in Jonquière is expanding, and we’re looking for a motivated and passionate electrical engineer with at least five years of experience to join our Apparatus team and help our office with its growth and success. While working at this dynamic office, you’ll be supported by experts from the larger offices while enjoying a peaceful and pleasant work environment. You'll work on projects in the region as well as across Québec and Canada.

We train and support our engineers so they can excel and be among the best in Canada. You’ll be able to work closely with other team members to design and develop innovative and high-quality industrial power systems. Our firm values teamwork, diverse employee skills and well-being.

  • Plan, organize and monitor all project phases, including managing workers, budgets and deadlines
  • Design and develop power system infrastructures in collaboration with the engineering team
  • Supervise installation and commissioning of systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with technical specifications
  • Coordinate the in-house engineering teams and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery
  • Ensure compliance with current standards and regulations for electrical installations and equipment
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders (clients, suppliers, partners) to ensure transparency and that requirements are met
  • Track and manage the project budget, monitoring costs and controlling expenses
  • Solve technical and logistical problems encountered during the various project phases

Summary of certifications and job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and member in good standing with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
  • At least five years of relevant experience
  • An understanding of applicable standards and electrical codes
  • Adept at working on a team and communicating effectively with team members and clients
  • Ability to learn quickly and work under the supervision of senior engineers
