Job descriptionDeliver comprehensive nursing care aligned with residents individualized care plans. Administer medications and manage residents medication routines according to established protocols. Monitor and assess residents health promptly reporting changes to the healthcare team. Provide guidance and support to residents and their families regarding care plans and health management. Oversee and assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed. Maintain professionalism while managing tasks such as light housekeeping and emotional support. Implement Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) measures and proper PPE usage. Document nursing interventions and resident progress accurately and on time. Lead and collaborate with healthcare staff to promote a safe and respectful environment. Graduate of an accredited nursing program with valid RN certification. Physically capable of performing nursing duties including lifting and transferring residents safely. Availability for flexible shifts in a 24 / 7 operation including weekends and statutory holidays. Excellent criticalthinking and problemsolving skills to adapt to dynamic care needs. Strong communication and leadership skills to support team operations and resident care. Knowledge of healthcare technology for documentation and reporting. Current CPR First Aid and any other relevant certifications. Clear Vulnerable Sector Check. Working Conditions Every second weekend and statutory holiday availability required. Physical activities such as standing walking lifting and transferring residents. Occasional travel to partnering retirement homes in Halliburton. Potential for overtime!
Location : Haliburton (Partnering Retirement Homes)
Pay Rate : $20.40 CAD per hour
