West Fraser is currently seeking a 4th Class Power Engineer to join our team at our Hinton Division in Alberta. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic operation in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

You’ll Do :

Maintain a safe work environment
Ensure efficient operation of the Biomass Facility
Ensure efficient operation of the CDK kilns, including loading and unloading
Perform kiln changes and other duties as needed

You Have :

A valid 4th class power engineering designation including firing time

Work well in a team environment

Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrate problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills

Desire to progress, learn, grow and succeed

Physical ability to work 12-hour shifts

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation Package :

The hourly pay rate for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location.
