Looking for a high speed (>

20Gbps) PCB designer with backplane experience.

Functions include but are not limited to : ability to select materials, define stack-ups, generate manufacturing packages and interface with the PCB manufacturers.

Must have intimate Altium experience.

Simulation experience would be an asset.

Must be registerable under the CGP (ITAR) programmer (Canadian / United States residents only).

• Designing layouts : Creating the layout of the PCB to include the correct components
• Working with engineers : Collaborating with engineers and technicians to ensure components are placed optimally and routing requirements are met
• Creating documentation : Producing documentation for PCB fabrication and manufacturing, such as schematic diagrams, layouts, and bills of materials
• Ensuring quality : Overseeing the manufacturing of PCBs to ensure they meet industry and company standards
• Improving designs : Recommending ways to improve existing designs
• Reworking designs : Reworking PCB designs when engineering design changes occur
