Electrician

If you are seeking an opportunity to work for an innovative manufacturer then this is your chance. Our customer is a leading edge, fast pace automotive manufacturer seeing a strong electrician to join their growing team.

What you bring to the table :

Hold a current provincial or inter-provincial Industrial Electrician ticket

Excellent sense of urgency and work ethic

Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities :

PLC Troubleshooting (Siemens or Allen Bradley)

Position includes general machine maintenance and troubleshooting equipment repairs, equipment upgrades, equipment instillation, and preventative maintenance

Perform machinery startups and testing to ensure proper performance

Monitor daily machine / tool performance, perform regular checks, and implement actions to improve availability and yield

Complete and maintain maintenance documentation

Ability to read blueprints, technical designs and schematics

This would be an asset :

Working experience with robotics / laser cutters

Experience specifically with Siemens PLC’s

Location : Tri-City

Position Type : Permanent

Salary / Rate : Negotiable, based on experience. Benefits and Pension.

Shift : Afternoon
