Our manufacturing client in the Shelburne, ON area is looking for a skilled, hands-on Industrial Electrician who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, working with PLCs and robotics, and driving continuous improvement — not just responding to breakdowns.
The Perks :
$38-39 / hr + consistent raises every 6 months up to top rate
day / aft biweekly rotation (+$0.50 / hr shift premium)

The Role :
Proactively identify and address safety issues, implementing countermeasures to maintain a safe workplace
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, minimizing downtime and production impact
Work hands-on with PLCs, stamping programs, and robotic systems, including programming and teaching
Complete preventive maintenance (PMs) and assigned work orders in a timely, disciplined manner
Investigate extended downtime events, complete trouble reports, and communicate clearly with Operations and Maintenance teams
Own equipment reliability in assigned production areas — and support other areas as needed
Order spare parts, coordinate external repairs, and ensure critical components are available
Support TPM activities, equipment inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate daily documentation, reports, and maintenance records
Keep tools, work areas, and maintenance spaces clean, organized, and audit-ready
You Bring :
Licensed Electrician or Certificate of Qualification
Strong electrical background with hands-on experience troubleshooting industrial equipment
automotive manufacturing experience preferred
Proven experience with PLCs, automation systems, and robot programming / teaching
Prior experience in automotive manufacturing or a comparable high-volume production environment
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate issues and implement lasting countermeasures
Professional, service-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
