The Qualified Childcare Educator is responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and overall development of children in a child care environment. It plans and organizes age-appropriate educational activities for children, thus promoting their learning and socialization. She works in collaboration with parents to ensure continuity between home and daycare.
Localisation : Garderie LaSalle des petits – Montréal, Québec
Status : Permanent, 4 days a week and one day of work at home (32-40 hours / week)
Work schedule : Garderie LaSalle des petits' opening hours : Monday to Friday, 7 : 30 a.m. to 6 : 30 p.m. and 6 : 30 p.m. to 11 : 30 p.m.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To apply the educational program to the children
- Ensure the overall harmonious development of the children
- Organize, facilitate and evaluate group, sub-group and individual activities to enable each child to develop to his / her full potential
- Provide support and protection to some children in difficulty
- Maintain order and cleanliness of the premises, materials and equipment
- Assist children with meals and snacks
- Participate in the monthly team meeting
- Collaborate with parents for the well-being of the children
- Follow the given themes
- Collaborate with the Early Childhood Education teachers at Garderie LaSalle des Petits Daycare.
