Job descriptionProvide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care to patients in the region. Participate in a 1 in 4 call rotation, ensuring coverage and continuity of care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Support teaching and mentorship opportunities with medical learners, if interested. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient-centered care planning. 42 Acute Care Beds 20 bed Psychiatry unit 4 surgical suites, including a dedicated Orthopedics OR 6 ICU Beds (potential to expand to 8) 20 Bed Emergency Department with 2 Trauma Bays Large Ambulatory Care Unit Community Cancer clinic Hemodialysis Unit Pediatric Care Space MRI, CT, and Nuclear Medicine services Vacation Leave : 6-8 weeks annually including CME Retention Premium : 18.48% Retention Flat Fee : $28,045 Relocation Funding Available : $9,000–$15,000 Recruitment Incentive : $10,000 Rural Continuing Medical Education (RCME) available Relocation funding tiers : $15,000 if relocating from outside Canada; $12,000 if relocating within Canada but outside BC; $9,000 if relocating within BC

Role and Facility Information
Ksyen Regional Hospital in Terrace is seeking a dedicated and experienced Obstetrician / Gynecologist for a long-term locum opportunity. This position is ideal for a physician interested in exploring a long-term fit with our team and community. We offer flexibility in FTE and scheduling to support work-life balance and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
This position is compensated on an Alternative Payment Program, providing security in a fixed salary.
Surround yourself by the coastal mountain range and rainforest, with access to outdoor activities year-round. Terrace offers a vibrant community with strong healthcare and educational presence, including training sites for medical students and residents.
Facility Details
The hospital will include a Tier 3 neonatal intensive care unit and special care nursery to support antenatal and postnatal services. It is a training site for medical students and residents.
