Description
The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course of EDUCATIONAL INTERVENTIONS FOR 5 TO 12 YEARS OLDS (322-754-RL).
This course enables students to design, organize and lead a variety of learning situations during all life activities for children 5 to 12 years of age to support and stimulate their overall development. To do so, students call on their knowledge of the child’s development, taking into consideration their observations of the child. It also involves preparing to lead these activities, with concern for supporting a child or group of children in their overall development. Required Qualifications : Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline and 2 years of teaching experience, or a DEC in Early Childhood Education
or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in a daycare setting.
Teaching experience in early childhood education or a related program such as Child Studies, Child Development, Special Education, or Social Work is an asset.
This course is taught in English; proficiency in English is required.
Work experience teaching an adult clientele is strongly recommended.
