Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Roll-off / Tractor Trailer / front load trucks and wheel loader in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance.

  • Perform minor mechanical repairs and assist maintenance staff when required.

  • Ensure materials are handled, loaded, and transported according to safety and environmental standards.

  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation of vehicle/equipment use and service.

  • Support yard operations as needed, including cleanup and snow removal.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

  • Valid Class DZ driver’s license (AZ preferred).

  • Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment and/or truck operation experience.

  • Experience in waste management, recycling, or aggregate industries.

  • Certification or training in heavy equipment operation or maintenance.

  • Strong mechanical knowledge and basic repair ability.

  • Safety-first mindset with proven reliability and initiative.

  • Ability to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions.

  • Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
