They combine the technical competence of large companies with the flexibility and human approach of an independent firm.
We are looking for a Structural Drafter Coordinator to join our engineering team in Laval. The future colleague, organized and methodical, will work closely with the engineering team to coordinate various technical aspects related to building construction projects and other structures. You will actively participate in all project phases, from initial surveys to the preparation of engineering models and plans and monitor their execution on site. You will also be required to intervene directly on construction sites, ensuring compliance with budgets and schedules.
Main responsibilities :
- Prepare site surveys, studies, and reports.
- Maintain constant and positive relationships with clients.
- Validate workshop drawings.
- Participate in site meetings and manage correspondence.
- Monitor construction sites from the office and make occasional site visits.
- Prepare feasibility studies for various projects.
- Coordinate work with different services and professionals involved in the projects.
- Supervise and mentor the drafting team.
- Contribute to the development of drawing standards in your discipline.
- Ensure quality control of plans and documents produced by the team, in accordance with internal standards.
- Collaborate with project engineers on the design of minor structural elements.
- Plan residential, municipal, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects using AutoCAD or REVIT Structure for 3D modeling.
