I'm assisting one of our customers in the food industry, located on Montreal's North Shore, in their search for a Warehouse Director.Main responsibilities : -Supervise all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking and shipping.-Analyze and improve logistics processes to maximize efficiency and reduce operational costs.-Recruit, train and supervise the warehouse team, ensuring compliance with safety and productivity standards.-Ensure effective inventory management to maintain an optimal balance between supply and demand.-Work with suppliers to plan deliveries and resolve any supply problems.-Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure that products stored and shipped comply with company standards and food regulations.-Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety laws and regulations, as well as workplace safety standards.-Develop and manage the warehouse budget, monitoring expenses and identifying cost reduction opportunities.-Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for innovation and implementing improvement projects.-Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, such as key performance indicators (KPIs), and present this information to management to guide strategic decisions.
