In line with their ambitious vision, they seek a strategic and results-driven Director of Real Estate and Construction to lead their facilities' planning, acquisition, development, and construction. This pivotal role calls for a visionary leader with a proven track record in real estate management and construction oversight, capable of driving complex projects from concept to completion while aligning with their growth objectives and uncompromising quality standards.DescriptionStrategic Leadership : Develop and execute a comprehensive real estate and construction strategy in alignment with the company’s expansion goals.Collaborate with executive leadership to determine facility requirements and site selection strategies.Project Management : Oversee the planning, design, permitting, and construction of new healthcare facilities and the renovation of existing sites.Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.Real Estate Acquisitions : Identify, evaluate, and negotiate potential property acquisitions.Conduct due diligence, including market analysis, risk assessment, and financial modeling to support acquisition decisions.Team Leadership and Development : Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of real estate and construction professionals.Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovative problem-solving and continuous improvement.Compliance and Quality Assurance : Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.Implement quality control measures and safety protocols on all construction sites.Stakeholder Engagement : Maintain strong relationships with internal departments, external partners, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders.Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to senior management and board members.RequirementsEducation : Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, LEED AP) is a plus.Experience : A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in real estate development, construction management, or related fields.Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing large-scale, complex projects, preferably within the healthcare or medical services industry.Demonstrated success in managing acquisitions, project budgets, and cross-functional teams.Skills and Competencies : Strong strategic planning and analytical skills.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.Deep knowledge of construction processes, real estate markets, and regulatory requirements.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.Proficiency in project management software and real estate financial modelling tools.Corporate CultureCompetitive Salary : $150,000 - $175,000 per yearComprehensive Benefits Package : Health, dental, and vision insurance; retirement plans; paid time off; and more.Career Growth : Opportunity to lead transformative projects and shape the future of healthcare facilities.Dynamic Work Environment : Join a forward-thinking company that values innovation, excellence, and community impact.Contact Miriam Ronen at 416.410.5316 x4 or submit your resume in confidence below.
