AirMatrix is enhancing legacy systems with advanced AI models to improve decision-making across cities, prisons, and transportation networks. We provide actionable insights by integrating seamlessly with existing hardware and sensors, helping clients optimize operations and strengthen security. Our mission is to deploy AI for good, everywhere.
Some of our work includes :
- Prison Security : Deploying counter-UAS systems across North America, scaling them into legacy systems across multiple agency locations to address security threats effectively.
- Urban Traffic Management : Collaborating with cities in Ontario and Texas, to deliver real-time analytics for smarter urban planning and traffic management, from the ground to the sky.
- Government Collaboration : Partnering with the Governments to develop and test AI models for deployment in challenging remote environments.
We focus on rapidly testing, refining, and deploying software to solve real-world challenges. With a skilled team of engineers and designers, we are driving this vision forward and seeking a leader to help us scale.
About the Role
The Director of Engineering will be responsible for scaling AirMatrix’s engineering and design teams efficiently and effectively. Based in Miami and Toronto, this in-person role is for someone who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and has prior experience building high-performing teams in high-growth organizations. You’ll lead the charge in refining our technology stack, managing critical projects, and ensuring smooth deployment of our AI-powered solutions.
This is not your first rodeo—you should bring the expertise, leadership, and vision to scale a small, dynamic team into a world-class engineering organization.
