Your Opportunity :
Do you have an in-depth understanding of data-driven social media strategy and practice and a high degree of political acuity and judgment? Strong leadership capabilities, superb organizational and analytical skills and keen attention to detail? The ability to coordinate efforts across a variety of teams, manage conflicting priorities, and deadlines? Do you have demonstrated experience advising senior leaders on matters of significance in real-time?
In the newly created role of digital engagement manager at UTC :
- You will directly manage UTC’s social media team and work collaboratively across teams to drive the production of social media assets for U of T’s core channels. You will develop and maintain effective project management processes using digital tools; ensure strategy and workflow are coordinated and aligned across multiple teams. You will help enhance the quality of social media content on key platforms and ensure digital engagement is consistently prioritized and aligned across teams.
- You will collaborate with colleagues to develop, execute, analyze and report on data-driven digital strategies and tactics to promote, enhance and protect the reputation of the university.
- You will manage social listening activities for reputation and issues management using in-platform searches and tools and advise UTC leadership on sentiment among target audiences. You will also provide critical support for leadership on risk and issues management, including after-hours assistance and expertise as needed in urgent and crisis situations.
