Our client in York Region, ON is actively looking fora Digital Print Operator to join their team.
Job Title : Digital Print Operator
Location : York Region, ON
Length of Assignment : Permanent
Salary : $ - $ / hour + $ Premium
Job Summary
The Digital Print Operator is responsible for processing print-ready files on production equipment.
Responsibilities
- Follow a specific schedule to print production orders
- Operate Client Printers, Client iGen Color Printers and Ricoh IP Color Continuous Inkjet System
- Printer set-up
- Submitting print files to printers
- Verify printer alignment is set up correctly and make adjustments if required
- Perform quality control checks to ensure the product is compliant
- Place Service Calls when required
- Clear out printer jams as required
- Scan job print tickets in BOWE One
- Fill out daily production logs
- Responsible for keeping the work area organized and clean
- Adhere to all Health and Safety, Security policy and departmental procedures
- Follow remake procedures
- Assist in training new operators
- Attend DP Communication meetings
- Other duties as assigned
