Job description
Job Description
The Dietary Worker is responsible for preparing and/or building food items while providing customer service and adhering to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.
Job Responsibilities
• Preparation and assembly of food items for patient meals and snacks
• Adheres to food safety policies and procedures
• Replenishes food items and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels.
• Maintains general knowledge of therapeutic diets
• Warewashing soiled equipment & smallwares
• Works closely with clinicians and the Food & Nutrition team to ensure accurate patient nutrition
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards coworkers, customers and guests.
• Adheres to ARAMARK safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation standards

Qualifications
- Food Safety Handler Certification required.
- Experience in food service, as a dietary clerk, or in a related field preferred
- Needs to communicate fluently in the English language, bilingual or multilingual a plus.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to change.
