Mailroom Clerk
This is an open role with our client in the insurance industry offering the opportunity to work onsite supporting businessasusual activities within the DMS Mail Services team. The successful candidate will handle incoming return mail and provide critical administrative support with potential exposure to multiple business units and avenues for growth.
What is in it for you :
Hourly salary of $17.20.
6month contract.
Fulltime position : 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 7 : 30 am to 3 : 30 pm 8 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm or 8 : 30 am to 4 : 30 pm.
Onsite work in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities :
Receive sort and deliver incoming mail and courier items promptly.
Ensure accurate handling of outgoing mail and courier services for customers and advisors.
Manage the distribution of cheques contracts and statements to internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain email inboxes by promptly addressing inquiries and processing scanning and print requests.
Investigate and resolve inquiries effectively.
Assist with ad hoc projects as needed.
Provide excellent customer service to internal partners.
What you will need to succeed :
Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail to ensure privacy compliance.
Previous experience in customer service or data entry roles.
Excellent multitasking organizational and prioritization skills in highvolume deadlinedriven settings.
Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Outlook Teams Word and Excel.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and positively impact the customer service experience.
Capability to manage fluctuating workloads effectively.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities and adaptability to change.
Bilingual in English and French is considered an asset to support clients and partners in both official languages enhancing communication and ensuring highquality service delivery.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
