Patient care for active chronic care unit including assessments and personal care.

Qualifications :

• Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• BCLS certification at time of hire
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Multi-patient medication administration.
• Ability to work independently.
• One year nursing experience in Long Term Care setting.
• Caring and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
• Good team player.
• Computer skills / RUGS III data entry an asset.
• Evidence of dedication to continuing education.
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Keen desire to work with the elderly.
• Satisfactory employment and attendance record.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position

Additional Information :

Hours :  Various rotating 12 hour shifts; 0730 to 1930hrs; 1930 to 0730hrs(hours are subject to change based on operational needs)

Salary :    $40.24 to $57.68 per hour
