Position Summary
To pick and pack online grocery delivery orders, ensuring high quality standards and accuracy while adhering to strict safety and food hygiene standards to achieve customer satisfaction.
What you'll do
- Efficiently pick and assemble orders from various temperature zones with care to ensure on-time delivery.
- Pack orders with attention to detail, distinguishing between similar products, verifying quantities, and correct product codes.
- Ensure products are of the highest quality, free from damage, and include the freshest options.
- Accurately document and label orders, interpreting pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels.
- Optimize tote filling by packing efficiently while maintaining product quality standards.
- Balance fulfillment duties with customer service, supporting issues to resolution.
- Maintain strict safety and hygiene standards, including cleaning work areas, operating equipment safely, and completing safety checks.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting operational and safety enhancements, and demonstrate flexibility in work assignments.
The starting pay rate for this position is $17.55, with potential adjustments based on experience.
