Job Title : AWS Data Engineer Duration : Contract Location : Hybrid role in Toronto, ON Job Description : Data Analyst AWS Data Pipeline Expertise : Proficiency in designing and implementing data pipelines on cloud platforms (preferably AWS). Ability to handle large datasets from diverse sources, including tasks like data cleaning and validation. ETL Development Skills : Hands-on experience with ETL processes, strong proficiency in Python and SQL, and familiarity with AWS services such as Glue, Glue Crawlers, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, S3, EC2, IAM, and monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch for setting up alerts. Cloud Deployment Knowledge : Experience in deploying applications on the cloud, including integrating CI / CD pipelines for building artifacts and promoting changes to higher environments. Scheduling Frameworks : Working knowledge of scheduling tools like Apache Airflow and AWS Step Functions. Collaboration and Communication : Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
