New Professional Support may receive up to a maximum of seven steps for relevant occupational experience which is $ 89,704.12 annually.ResponsibilitiesWhat you will be doing…You will provide career, academic and personal counselling, as well as guidance and support for students in the Adult Learning Program, leading to the Nova Scotia High School Graduation Diploma for Adults.You will engage in student intake assessment, data management, orientation and retention support services as you collaborate with both the School of Access and Student Services departmental teams, as well as with support agencies.Under leadership of the Dean, School of Access, Education and Language, you will have a direct reporting relationship with the Academic Chair and a functional relationship with the Manager of Student Services at the Campus level, working closely with faculty of the Adult Learning Program and collaborating regularly with staff members in Student Services.QualificationsQualifications and Occupational Experience : Master's degree in Clinical Social Work, Psychology or Counselling or other Master's degree enabling registration with one of the provincial regulatory bodies noted below.
