PrecisionERP / IT is hiring a local Ottawa based Cyber Security Specialist - Secret Security Cleared, (working primarily remote but may need to work on-site(on occasion) for our Ottawa based Government client.TERM : 6 months, with potential for extensionSTART DATE : mid to late Feb 2025DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : - Leverage the Government of Canada Cyber Security Incident Response Plan as a template to create a formal incident response plan for the client's organization.- Work with internal team members to determine and document incident response protocols for key systems, adjusting as required.- Work with internal team members to determine and document key incident response playbooks for key systems, adjusting as required.- Work with 3rd parties to validate plan.- Train and conduct readiness exercises with internal team members in the use of incident response plan and playbooks.REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS : - MUST POSSESS FEDERAL GOVT SECRET LEVEL CLEARANCE- Proven experience in cyber security and incident response.- In-depth knowledge of incident response planning, and best practices.- Must be familiar / experienced with Government of Canada cyber security frameworks.- Strong communication skills in English- Able to come and work on-site(on occasion) when requiredNICE TO HAVE : - Bilingual(English and French) would be an asset, but not mandatory
