Job Type : On-Going Part-time, Independent Contractor Position.
Hours : Minimum 5 Hours of Availability Required Per Week.
After school and weekend availability. Please note that the majority of our clients are seeking services after school and on weekends
Side by Side Therapy is currently looking for skilled individuals to fill contract Instructor Therapist positions in Courtice and surrounding areas in Durham Region. Instructor Therapists will work one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (or other developmental disabilities) in the children’s home while employing Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) teaching strategies as directed by a Senior Therapist and RBA.
Successful Candidates Must :
- Possess a minimum of 6 months employment experience as an Instructor Therapist or similar role, implementing ABA procedures as directed by an RBA
- Implement sessions as directed by the RBA in accordance with the client’s Individualized Service Plan (ISP) in the client’s home or community.
- Implement feedback from the RBA (or delegate) in a timely manner to improve client outcomes.
- Record and graph data and notes required by the RBA
- Arrive on time and prepared for all sessions with clients.
- Maintain regular communication with parents, other team members, and the agency.
- Other duties as assigned by the RBA
