Role Description
This is a contract role for a Freelance Writer / Reporter at Now Toronto. The Freelance Writer / Reporter will be responsible for generating informative and engaging content, conducting interviews, researching stories, and delivering content in a timely manner throughout the month of February to support in our Black History Month coverage.
Qualifications
- Writing, Editing, and Proofreading skills
- Journalistic research abilities
- Content creation and storytelling skills
- Interviewing and fact-checking experience
- Digital media literacy
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
- Experience with social media and SEO best practices
- Knowledge of Canadian media landscape is a plus
