What you'll do :
- Respond to and chase breaking news
- Attend shoots in the field to conduct interviews or chase developing / breaking news
- Write original content for broadcast and web platforms
- Write news items for broadcast (in English) to support all language shows
- Search for and curate original stories that pertain to OMNI's news audience
- Support with multi-platform rollout of stories, occasionally ensuring online posts are accurate and stylistically sound
- Gather and assemble various media forms, audio, video, and images for broadcast and / or the web
- Keep on top of trending topics and news
- Collaborate to achieve audience and revenue goals
- Work to help respond quickly to relevant news and audience interests
