What you'll do :

• Respond to and chase breaking news
• Attend shoots in the field to conduct interviews or chase developing / breaking news
• Write original content for broadcast and web platforms
• Write news items for broadcast (in English) to support all language shows
• Search for and curate original stories that pertain to OMNI's news audience
• Support with multi-platform rollout of stories, occasionally ensuring online posts are accurate and stylistically sound
• Gather and assemble various media forms, audio, video, and images for broadcast and / or the web
• Keep on top of trending topics and news
• Collaborate to achieve audience and revenue goals
• Work to help respond quickly to relevant news and audience interests
