The focus of the Systems Administrator is to act as the primary voice of the platform. You will be responsible for being the technical liaison in alignment and support of the business definition and requirements, ensuring that a holistic view is taken when defining, developing, and configuring value added enhancement and improvements. The role will work as the administration lead defining, coordinating, and managing the development team to execute on the corporate goals, enhancements, and value-added activities through the planning process in association with your prioritized backlog.
As Systems Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the applications are maintained and configured for optimal efficiency, performance, and value creation to our clients. While maintaining a security mindset ensuring that our applications are configured to meet all our regulatory, corporate, and governing standards. The Systems Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring that the core applications not only meet the needs of today but are aligned and maintained for the future.
The Systems Administrators will be experts in their knowledge of our platforms and technologies. Their focus will be to deliver on improving the quality of IT services in alignment with business needs focused on measurable value.
As a member of the Digital Services Operations team responsibilities include :
- Administration of the ITSM application (TopDesk) including incidents, enhancements, investigations and testing
- Administration of Microsoft 365 including Teams, SharePoint, Active Directory and others
- Asset lifecycle management
- Primarily Level 2 & 3 support
- General end user support (Service Desk, Desktop / Endpoint)
- No after-hours support required in this role
- Requirements :
- Computer Systems related diploma
- 3 years related IT experience
- ITSM tool administration
- Microsoft 365 Administration including SharePoint, Teams
- Active Directory
- Asset Management
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent collaboration skills
- Applicant must be eligible to work in Canada and reside within Canada.
- Final candidates will be required to undergo a comprehensive background check and verification of credentials. \
