Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses. Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. Recommends changes in service and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments. Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management. Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales. Present, promote and sell products / services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing / potential customers to meet their needs Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships Reach out to customer leads through cold calling Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments Analyze the territory / market’s potential, track sales and status reports Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new services. Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends Continuously improve through feedback. We're seeking an experienced sales professional with previous transport and courier industry experience and knowledge to make outside sales and promotions with existing and new clients for a truck delivery service company.
The ideal candidate MUST have extensive knowledge on the courier and transportation experience to better utilize partnership opportunities with surrounding businesses. They will work directly with the sales manager on tactics and targets to increase the client portfolio.

- Proven work experience as a sales representative for transportation industry.
