Warehouse Attendant w/ Admin -(Temporary to Permanent)THIS IS A LONG TERM ASSIGNMENT. NOT ACCEPTING STUDENTS AT THIS TIME. About Our Client:Our client has representatives and warehouses all across Canada. They have been a manufacturer and distributor of security and safety equipment since 1991. We are looking for amazing, hardworking staff to work in their second largest building in Canada! They are looking for someone with warehouse experience that also drives a reach, please be mindful that this is a “jack or jill of all trades position” and is not just operating the reach.What You Should Have, as Warehouse Attendant:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written English) skills
• Able to be detail oriented following precise instructions when processing orders
• Must be able to read, understand and follow instructions/picking slips
• The work requires walking, sitting, standing, bending/crouching, reaching, climbing ladders and platform stairs
• Use of pump trucks, push carts and walkies
• Lifting up to 20lbs
• 3+years’ experience
• Familiarity with ISO standards is an asset
• Comfortable working in a computer-based work environment including Microsoft OfficeData entry Entering/processing courier way-bills
• Experience using RF scanners preferred.

What You Will Be Doing as a Warehouse Attendant

• Pick, prepare and move customer orders and related material to checking stage forshipping process
• Package shipments securely on pallets, label and provide transportation documents,load trucks
• Use of walkie, push cart, pump truck and willingness to learn , reach truck and order picker as needed
• Print/Read picking slips from the system for manual pick orders
• Use an RF scanner to perform a cycle count daily
• Receive and store all finished goods from final assembly or delivery carriers in a timely manner using the RF scanner system
• Ensure the accuracy of shipments; confirm the quantity and part number(s) areaccurate
• Sort out material by POs and process QC orders
• Receive materials in the system and stamp paperwork with date and signature
• Assist Supervisor with highlighting, collecting, and filing paperwork
• Sort pallets and perform inventory checks
• Always maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all health andsafety policies/procedure
• Other related duties as assigned

In Return, You Will Receive:

• Starting at $19 per hour
• Opportunity for Permanent Hire with a great benefits package
• Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends

The Schedule You Will be Working Is:

• Days: Monday-Friday- 8:00AM – 4:30PM
