Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drafting Designer to join our manufacturing team at iSoftTek Solutions Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and specifications for our manufacturing processes and products.

Responsibilities

  • Create 2D and 3D detailed drawings of components and assemblies using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other departments to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate drawings.
  • Ensure that drawings adhere to company standards and manufacturing guidelines.
  • Review drawings for accuracy and completeness, making revisions as necessary.
  • Provide support to production team by answering questions and resolving drawing-related issues.
  • Maintain drawing files and documentation in an organized manner.
  • Assist in creating and updating Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing instructions.
  • Follow all safety and quality guidelines in the drafting and manufacturing processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Prior experience in drafting and manufacturing is a plus.
  • We are looking for a Drafting Designer with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. The successful candidate will have strong proficiency in CAD software and be able to create accurate and detailed drawings. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials is also required. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently are highly desirable.
