Randstad is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Officer to join a leading financial institution in Markham, Ontario. This is a full-time, temporary position with the possibility of extension and conversion to permanent employment. The role involves a variety of administrative tasks, primarily back-office focused, supporting the smooth operation of the department.
Position : Operations Officer
Shift : Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm EST (7.5 hours / day). In-office work is required on Mondays and either Wednesday or Friday.
Salary : $22.41 / hour
Location : Hybrid - Markham, ON (with a work from home option for 2 days / week)

Free parking is provided for in-office days. A hybrid work model provides flexibility. Two weeks of training will be provided via a hybrid model.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include :
- Administrative transfer of vehicle ownerships through various governmental agencies;
- Handling branding inquiries and changes;
- Timely and efficient movement of vehicles;
- Processing salvage transactions within ClaimCenter;
- Closure of salvage logs;
- Maintaining attention to detail and high productivity standards;
- Collaborating effectively with internal and external partners;
- Identifying and managing risks;
Contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications
Essential qualifications :
Administrative / clerical experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication skills
Desirable qualifications :
Experience in insurance, collections, or related financial industry fields
Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter
Experience with Impact Auto Auctions
