Job descriptionEnsures that all team members work well with the various departments to maintain a Reviews and analyzes branch financial statements prepared by financial analysts. Leads financial analysts in the preparation of annual budgets. Supervises the financial analyst's review of the semi-annual and year-end file. Schedules physical inventories. Plans schedules for auditors. Manages cash and branch financing. Follow-up on tax instalments (personal and corporate). Schedules mailing of various documents to external parties. Follows up monthly sales tax remittances for each legal entity. Ensures application of sales and corporate tax laws by branches and financial analysts. Manages insurance coverage in collaboration with franchisees. Performs other financial management analyses. Makes recommendations to head office on various points raised in branches, on invoicing, invoicing, controls, etc. in relation to the services offered by the head office to the chain branches. Authorizes various expenses Sends and discusses financial results with franchisees and Branch Financial Answers franchisees' financial questions. Meet with franchisees occasionally with financial statements. University degree, bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Possess a CPA CA, CGA or CMA accounting designation and experience in a CPA CA firm. Have five (5) years' relevant experience in a similar position and in supervising Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and Outlook). Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX accounting software is an asset. Knowledge of corporate taxation and commodity taxes. Demonstrate initiative, autonomy and analytical skills. Ability to handle several files at once. Adapt easily to tight deadlines. Demonstrate a high sense of responsibility, organization and planning. Functional English preferred.
