He develops negotiation strategies, assesses risks, and concludes advantageous agreements for the company. He works closely with other departments such as product development, production, logistics, and finance teams to align purchasing objectives with those of the company. He leads and supports a team of buyers by providing training and mentoring to establish a culture of performance and continuous improvement.The Corporate Purchasing Director monitors key performance indicators related to commodity costs, suppliers, and purchasing efficiency.
