Job description

Are you detail-oriented,, and passionate about numbers? We’re looking for a full-time Accounts Payable person to join our team in Kamloops, BC. As a key part of our finance team, you’ll play an essential role in keeping our accounts accurate and up to date as we support water solutions across the region. This position will report directly to the local Controller and will work collaboratively with the General Manager and other departments to ensure operational excellence. Preference will be given to any individuals experienced in Microsoft D365, that have strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full cycle accounts payable, posting invoices, account reconciliations, managing vendor discounts, and monthly A / P runs.
  • Monthly reconciliations
  • Corporate credit card, fuel card and expense account reconciliations and reports
  • Maintain accurate and organized filing systems
  • Cross function training in other departments

What You Offer

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience with large volume accounts payable
  • Proficiency with Microsoft D365 or similar program
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced level proficiency in Excel.
  • Salary Range, Benefits, Vacation

    Range $50,000 - $60,000

    Benefits after 3-month probation period

    Full time / 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8 : 00 am – 4 : 30 pm
