Who we're looking for
Zendesk is a service-first CRM company that builds powerful, customizable software designed to improve customer relations. At Zendesk, we encourage growth, innovation and believe in giving back to the communities we call home.
We are looking for a hands-on, techno-functional Business Systems Analyst (BSA) that thrives in a multi-project, fast-paced, and lively environment. As a Sr. BSA, you will lead the strategy of our IT Legal Applications team, while partnering closely with our Legal organization.
In this role, you will strive to scale our systems, while focusing on globally consistent and automated solutions to increase efficiency. You will work with IT and Legal leadership to develop and maintain our long-term roadmap to ensure scalable and innovative solutions. Our team has a passion for Legal systems and is excited for a new leader!
What you'll be doing
Provide administration oversight for day-to-day activities in Docusign and other Legal applications as assigned
Partner closely with the Legal organization to understand needs, devise solutions and develop a roadmap for execution
Work with delivery, architecture, PMO, and business teams to turn short and long term business needs into high quality, scalable, & secure systems to facilitate Zendesk's rapid growth
Conduct analysis on applications managed by the Employee Experience Applications team, identify areas for improvements, consolidations, or standardizations, and present to leadership
Build quarterly roadmaps and ensure timely delivery of committed projects via agile methodology and through a partnership with our business applications support team, from design through implementation and support
Complete software selection assessment and application scorecards as needed
Assist in change management efforts related to sunsetting or migrating applications
Regularly evaluate existing best of breed tool stack for functional fit, focusing on partner experience, company technology philosophy, and scalability
What you bring to the role
2+ years of experience administering Legal applications for a growing enterprise
4+ years of relevant SaaS industry or consulting experience (plus if detailed Project Management and Change Management experience)
Skills to work independently and in a large project team setting
Critical problem solver and problem-solving skills
Demonstrable ability to work autonomously, manage and lead small to medium projects or parts of larger programs requiring program management involvement
Self-motivated with the ability to not only work in a group / individual setting but able to drive action and independently with little to no direction
Passionate about process optimization and system implementations
Strong relationship building and communication skills with all levels of the organization, from individual contributors to executives, and the ability to manage relationships with external parties
Solid understanding of IT and Legal business processes including, but not limited to, contract lifecycle management and software development lifecycle
Deep understanding of current market trends in SaaS legal applications from the process, vendor, and end-user perspective
A consultative approach utilizing industry experience, business analysis, standard methodologies, and a pragmatic approach to facilitate sophisticated requirements and propose various approaches to solving problems
Where we work : Fully Flexible :
In this role, you'll work primarily remotely with the support of a dynamic and caring team. We'll provide you with the digital tools and experiences to be together-even when we're apart. Being digital first doesn't mean we're digital only. You'll also have the flexibility to join us at a Zendesk workspace, in one of our Zendesk offices or our flex office spaces. We will bring our people together on occasion to connect, collaborate, learn, or celebrate in person.
