POSITION SUMMARY
The Analyst is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and administration of total rewards programs. This role includes analyzing compensation data, preparing reports, assisting with benefits administration, and ensuring compliance. Through regular audits, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives, this role will play a key part in maintaining the integrity of our total rewards offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret total rewards data, prepare and generate reports, communications and presentations addressed to all levels of the organization.
- Assist in evaluating and recommending new or revised programs based on market trends and employee feedback.
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline and improve total rewards processes through data analysis.
- Assist the team with requests for job evaluation and benchmarking ensuring alignment with internal pay structures and market.
- Collaborate closely with the Total Rewards team, Payroll, HR professionals, and other stakeholders such as Finance, to answer their different Total Rewards data needs and requirements.
- Support the annual compensation cycle (salary and bonuses) administration, including data validation, system testing, communication, and reporting.
- Administer the company’s Canadian benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave programs.
- Collaborate with benefits providers to audit plan details, resolve discrepancies, and address employee issues.
- Develop and execute audits of our programs including verifying providers’ invoices, reviewing participant lists, examining employee premiums in payroll, auditing data exchanges between Stella-Jones and providers, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Administration, Actuarial Sciences or another relevant field.2 years of experience in compensation and / or benefits management including experience in reporting and data analysisProficiency in HRIS systems (Dayforce would be an asset) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reportingAs a Stella-Jones employee, you will enjoy access to excellent benefits and incentives, including :
