Overview
Cold Lake Community Health Services is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist I. You will provide occupational therapy services through community care at a supportive living facility and a healthcare centre, working collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team. This rural role offers rewarding community connections and professional growth opportunities.
Description
As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will provide evidence‑informed services focused on occupational performance for individuals, groups, and communities. You will act as a direct service provider, consultant, educator or advocate, engaging clients to enable meaningful occupations such as self‑care, productivity and leisure. Responsibilities include triage, screening, consultation, assessment, diagnosis, collaborative goal setting, treatment, prevention, self‑management, education, case management, referral, transition support and collaboration with relevant stakeholders. You will also support clinical supervision of Therapy Assistants and Therapy Aides.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program.
- Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
