About the role
We are currently seeking a Laboratory Assistant in our culture media production laboratory located in St-Hyacinthe. The successful candidate will report to the Laboratory Supervisor - Media Production.
What you will do:
- Clean and sterilize equipment
- Identificate equipment; prepare workstations sterilely
- Place orders and track inventory
- Participate in media exports to our various partners and clients
- Maintain various equipment (autoclave/pH meter/water system)
- Participate in the media quality control process
What it takes to succeed:
- A high school diploma
- Experience in a production laboratory, an asset
- Meticulousness and rigor
- Autonomy and proactivity
- Teamwork and strong communication skills
- Enjoys learning new roles in a scientific environment
- Knowledge of the Office Suite and Dynamics AX, an asset

Work Location & Minimum Pay Rate
This is an in‑person position based in Saint-Hyacinthe, requiring on‑site work five days per week. The position offers an annual starting wage of $20/hour with the potential for additional compensation based on relevant experience and qualifications.
