The position is based at our Saint-Hyacinthe plant and is a night shift role, with working hours from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., Monday to Friday.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as part of the Maintenance department’s programs
• Maintain, repair, and optimize production equipment (packaging, process, wastewater treatment plant, and utilities)
• Troubleshoot and perform reactive, corrective, and preventive maintenance on production systems
• Contribute to design and process improvement initiatives within maintenance operations
• Identify and resolve issues related to health & safety, quality, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Ensure compliance with HACCP and GMP standards across all production equipment
• Take part in 5S activities and help maintain a clean and organized maintenance department
• Document work using the maintenance management system (Maximo)
• Help manage and maintain the inventory of parts and supplies
• Participate in daily meetings, shift handovers, and plant performance improvement groups (DDS)
• Support all continuous improvement initiatives within the department
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Profile Sought:

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Electromechanics of Automated Systems
• 2–3 years of relevant experience
• Experience with food processing equipment is an asset
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Autonomous, resourceful, and available
• Versatile, detail-oriented, and inventive
• Able to handle stress and stay organized
• Quick and precise execution is essential
• Training in electrical equipment connections
• Comfortable with computer tools (CMMS, Microsoft Office Suite)
